“Political educational trip to Berlin”
At the invitation of Bundestag member Sven-Christian Kindler, 35 young refugees and young people with a migration background and carers traveled to Berlin. Due to the preparation for the trip, terms such as mandates, committees and factions were not unknown. The Bundestag was visited, questions were asked, the dome was admired and a tour of the historic Federal Council building was also possible. Many young people were in the Bundestag and in Berlin for the first time. The political and historical city tour was another highlight of the trip.
The young people had a lot of fun and also learned a lot. We hope that interest in politics continues to grow. In any case, all young people want to be there again on the next trip!
