innovatively competent and sustainable
Migrant self-organizations represent the interests of migrants in society. They provide social support, are cultural points of identification and build bridges to the rest of the population and to their countries of origin. They are pioneers for the intercultural opening of society and partners in integration policy.
Voluntary commitment is about the same among migrants and Germans, although the structures for migrant self-organizations are much less favorable due to financial support.
With this project we offer personality-enhancing seminars for volunteers and special specialist knowledge for board members.
These seminars are funded by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees.
