A joint art project gives all children the chance to contribute their individual skills, learn from each other and develop their own creative ideas. The children's wishes and needs are the focus of attention. You learn to value yourself and others, the ability to deal with conflict is promoted and, as a prevention goal, the ability to differentiate yourself and come to terms with your own identity.
There is no right or wrong here. Rather, there are ways and strategies to solve problems and realize goal-oriented design projects.
This is particularly important for children with particular difficulties, detached from everyday problems. The children are given space for individual experiences. Creative design creates the conditions for experiencing yourself as creative and strong. This promotes confidence in your own abilities. It is also important to strengthen children's autonomy, to enable them to recognize their own needs and to act self-confidently and independently.
